The History
of
Cini
Jewelry
|
  |

For nearly eight decades the
Cini
signature has meant original handcrafted, heirloom jewelry. Born
in Florence, Italy, Cini grew up in an atmosphere of artisans.
By the time he was 12 years old he was already acquainted with the fundamentals
of making jewelry. He arrived in Boston, Massachusetts at the age of 17.
News spread quickly that the Florentine artisan had great skill and imagination
in creating new jewelry designs. Before long his creations attracted the
attention of the most discerning buyers throughout the nation. He eventually
relocated his shop to Laguna Beach, California, where it remained until
his death in 1979. For the first 35 years in Boston, Cini's success
and growth were based on the philosophy that, "In a world of mass production,
everyone is hungry for the personal touch." This philosophy has become
the motivation behind keeping the Cini legacy alive.
